At least they have the ability to implement nationwide mandates compared to us in the US. But the "Querdenker" and the AFD are fighting hard and they have the same propaganda and disinformation machine through social media and internet that have people in Germany fighting mad.
I admire Merkel and this speech (likely done like many others where she is constantly booed by the AFD (their Neo-Nazi party) is taking a stand and by her standards, very impassioned and from the heart. She is right.

How many people would faint dead away if they ever heard the phrase "from the bottom of my heart" coming from a Presidential dais? Even the concept of HAVING a heart is beyond him.
