What Democrats need to do first after Biden is sworn into office,

Announce a Commission looking into the 2016, 2018, and 2020 election crimes including money and foreign influence, and corruption in our government. Then call all those pardoned including trump to testify under oath. If they lie, that's a crime. If they conspire to obstruct or lie, that's a crime. All members of Congress need to be investigated , to insure like trump claims , they were not involved in any way. Until this is done the American people will not have faith in our elections, or politicians in our government. And those corrupt will have consequences, and deter it from getting worse. The corruption Has to be stopped, or our country can't survive as a Democracy any longer, and the criminals take it over from us.

On January 20, there will be a new AG, not subservient to Trump.

“If it’s inherent contempt, it’s a meaningless power if it can’t be enforced with some rapidity,” Eliason said. “To effectuate it, it’s critical that the court expedite any proceedings that take place.”

11. And the House went to court to enforce subpoenas, with mixed success

People still think that the House had authority to throw people in jail under inherent contempt, and no amount of explaining about why that's not the case will shake them from their misconception.

And now, many of these same people are scrambling aboard the "refuse to seat them!" bandwagon - a course of action just as unavailable as inherent contempt.

2. This CANNOT happen again

Full bore investigation of what happened and steps to make sure it can’t happen again. We came frighteningly close to uncharted territory - shredding the Constitution to install a dictator, with the active help from a major political party.

Not investigating and prosecuting is giving a pass and tacit encouragement. The criminals will only continue and expand their crimes until our democracy is extinguished.
