Meanwhile they've given trillions to a handful of billionaires and are holding up this latest $600 payment because they want to give billionaires even more.

The real truth is that they want the money going to their donors. Its kind of a revolving door of money. If they give it to the working people, the money might get to grocery stores, clothing and shoe stores, or maybe schools and car dealerships.

(82,849 posts)The Republicans in Congress did pass a tax deduction of up to $1 million for yacht owners. Why didn't you deadbeats go out and buy a yacht and take advantage of this generous deduction? Instead you're whining about not having a job, facing eviction, and can't meet with or see your friends or relatives.

That's why they are anti-union, pro right-to-work, anti-living wage, anti-health care for all, anti-affordable housing, anti - anything and everything that helps people who aren't giving them millions.
Their lack of regard seems especially cruel during this pandemic, and it is - but their default is always cruelty.
I stay angry over it all.
