That is for a six year term. The first two I looked up for Obama were Democratic contributors and art philanthropists - one of them the head of Carlye Corporation.

I think all seats need to be looked at for length of time. Some seats last 10 years!

the Richard Grenell name seems familiar, and not in a good way, but i'm unsure
the Martin Oliner name is completely new to me

i'll hold my nose and take a look, but i would not be even a tiny bit surprised if Trump appointed a Holocaust denier to the council

ETA
Richard Grenell is a hardline Republican campaign strategist and Trump-supporter who's been Trumpointed as US Ambassador to Germany and ODNI acting director among other things. he's openly gay, in a committed long-term relationship, and claims Trump is the most pro-gay president ever. covers a lot of bases.

Martin Oliner is an attorney, vice president of American Zionist Movement and president of the Religious Zionists of America, seems about as normal as we're going to get from these Trumpointments.

Too bad.

They should implode it the day after it's finished.

He's already spent enough public funds on his questionable campaign trips/golf jaunts in AF1.

15. The Fullbright Scholarship Board has 12 members serving 3 year terms.

In the last three weeks of his second term, President Obama filled eight of those slots. So those terms have been expiring this year, leaving vacancies for Trump to fill in the final weeks of his presidency.

The US Holocaust Museum Council has 55 presidentially appointed members. I believe each serves a five year term, so 11 slots open each year. Of course, other spots may open as well, if appointees resign or die. In January 2017, Obama appointed 17 new members to the Council. some of whom were appointed to serve out the unexpired term of the previous member.
