she put in a lot of OT during the election and she is the star. Likely she gets vacation time when she needs it. I miss her.

... so. She must have contracted vacation time. The subs do not say how long... the network doesn't want viewers to find another way to spend the hour. So they say "the night off" even if they know they are booked for the week. Sometimes, the sub will say the regular host "will be back tomorrow."
