Survey finds around 40% of Americans increasingly believe QAnon and other conspiracy theories

A new survey has revealed that Americans increasingly believe in conspiracy theories such as QAnon, which claims that a deep state run by satan-worshipping pedophiles has worked to undermine Donald Trump.

According to the NPR/Ipsos poll released on Wednesday, some 39 per cent of respondents said they agreed that the president was being undermined in this way.

When asked whether or not “satan-worshipping elites who run a child sex ring are trying to control our politics and media,” only 47 per cent said the statement was incorrect.

Some 17 per cent said the statement was true, while 37 per cent were unsure about the claims.

"Q" is demonstrably not a secret colleague/pal of Trump, but some guy with a wifi router who lives on a pig farm. I mean, it's known who this guy is, and everything he claims about his role and position is a lie.

this poll, the sampling size and the responders. So many are just crap polls. I had to suffer through statistics and polling methodology for 2 semesters. This stuff is hard to so if done correctly and with any validity.

14. I have a half sister and her whole side of vaguely related

family to me, who believe with all their hearts in all that shit, including the lizard people. When I pointed out to my sister the lizard people thing was a Hollywood script, she said, "How do you think they came up with it? The people in charge of making movies are lizard people just like the government, look at their eyes!" And, I had my head in the sand, and any day now, I would know better... This has gone on for years. Same crap about everyone in government being pedophiles and eating babies in their secret meetings. These people are so far off the deep edge and ignorant, there's no reasoning with them. The other thing her family has in common is they're horrible bullies.
