We've heard a lot of noise from tRumpworld about the "Deep State" for nearly five years now. If there is such a thing, a rational person would have observed that those people/entities have largely kept their powder dry through all the bullshit that has been a four year abomination.

I sure hope they are standing by and ready to stand up!

I hate the idea of any insidious security apparatus operating independently or even at the behest of a rogue politician (Nixon's known failure doesn't mean he didn't have other successes). But independent constitution-loyal and vow-observing insiders could be critical to maintaining order during the next few weeks, with the yam doing everything but inciting armed treason, and his party ever-so-busy stringing their fiddles.
