A few of them — especially back-teeth (i.e. molars) — needed some extra leverage. Even more than what they’d find in an average Friday night bar fight at the local watering hole. They must have had some help from a professional.

Probably my favorite of his movies was an oldie called "The Last Holiday". It was on TV now and then when I was a kid and I tried not to miss it.

The ankle is healing well, though I'm still in the nursing home. And guess what, they gave me Covid! I'm apparently having a mild case, vitals are okay, but I am not a happy person. Another week in the Covid unit here, unfortunately with a roommate who is much sicker. So much for isolation.

The hygiene standards here aren't what they should be. I can appreciate that the staff has too much to do, but the owners should spend a little money to take care of the people here.

Acceptance into the independent and assisted living sections reputedly requires assets of $1 million. The rents are sky high. They need to add staff while this is going on.

Can't wait to be out of here.
