In their statement, Reps. Massie, Roy and others note that a Republican presidential candidate has won the popular vote only once in 32 years, so delegitimizing the Electoral College could imperil the party's only hope for victory in 2024... which is quite something.

the popular vote, but they've held the WH an equal number of years as the Ds. Add to that: the fact that the blue States pay a substantively higher per capita share of federal taxes while red States receive a substantively higher per capita share of federal expenditures than Blue States.
In a nutshell, it's frigging nuts!
