that a few of them have finally hit bottom. Too many of them can still stomach the septic tank that is the White House.

(13,947 posts)7. 45 tells the base what to think and those voters demand unquestioned loyalty to 45 by any Repub.
Once 45 leaves office on January 20 and if - a gigantic if - he more or less shuts up about day to day politics, the other elected Republicans in DC will stop listening to him because the base will not know how to act or think or vote without a clear signal from their cult leader. Personally, I hope he spends every day golfing starting on the 21st and is too tired the rest of the day to do anything.
