(3,667 posts)We have got to stop thinking that they will apply thinking and logic to their decisions. They will continue to disappoint us 100% of the time otherwise. And I find that so disappointing that sometimes, ok most of the time right now, I feel badly about that. I'm lucky I live in a state with a great governor. She thinks, uses logic and is actually worried about her citizens. The odd thing is that that is not true for so many others anymore. I never thought I'd see the day that governors cared more about politics than their citizens. I know I was lucky, I'm white and I didn't live in the South. But damn that's a hard dream/belief to watch as it fizzles into the ground.

Playing dumb is a common theme on the GOP side. Some of them are legitimately stupid (Gohmert, etc.), but most of them know better and just act like idiots. That's actually worse, in my opinion.
