Don't be so complacent folks. Even if Dems have House/Senate/Presidency

Even when the Dems have that slim majority in the Senate, there are still Dems who often vote with the Cons, so there is still work to do. People like Joe Manchin more often than not, vote with RepubliCONs. We should not sit on our butts. We must remain active. If we are not active, and participate in our democracy, there are very well funded powers who will take it from us. This has been tried many times, and often we have escaped by the skin of our teeth. We must remain vigilant, or our democracy crumbles to nothingness.

vague memories of reading about when I was studying religions deemed cults by some Protestant mainstream religious organizations. Blood, bounties and religion. So intertwined. Current VP being one
of this religion always made me very wary. Hopefully gone soon and soon forgotten. Onward always having one eye over the shoulder...can't trust those rightwingers...

I have deep reservations of that faction of Christianity myself. Having been one, at a period of time in this life, I commiserate. They are the original run rough hod over everyone with my faith or not, "the end is nigh". Maybe so, maybe no. There is NO EXCUSE in letting whole groups wither while claiming some sort of racial superiority in understanding the concept of god. Racism, sexism, lack of general compassion, it's in God's hands now they would say to me. I always said, yeah mine too. Gave the Creator its due but never forgetting I have responsibilities to others also. Don't hurt them, they have rights, also under any God definition and don't deserve pain and misery by humans in a god's name...like say Spanish Inquisition misery that burned alive over 20,000 alleged witches during its religious terror reign...terror manmade, I could never believe god-ordained no matter what was/is written in any Holy Book.

Sorry, no good remembrances there. I digressed.

What follows the relief is joy! Today we feast and make merry! We dance!

Would much rather have Joe Manchin than a WV Republican Senator.

We have THIN majorities in the House, and presumably the Senate. We can't really accomplish what we want. But we can prevent a complete obstruction by McTurtle.
