I'm not buying it. I will not accept GOP trying to escape responsibility by blaming only tRump.

They helped create this reality shit-show and all the suffering and death it has caused.
They created this monster out of their own greed and believed the false promises he made them.
They defended his lies, they publicly offered praise bordering on worship.

tRump never could have done the damage he's done to America, her citizens, asylum seekers, international relations, etc., etc., without their complete obedience and approval.

They all kept their heads down and did not fight. A few mumbled words of disapproval, a doomed vote that deserves a "participated" trophy for "doing the right thing" but was still just the path of least resistance.

The GOP symbol isn't an elephant, it's a chicken with its head in the ground like an ostrich.

They don't get to disown what they created: their absolutist, contemptuous-of-compromise base and the howler monkey they decided would be a great leader.
