WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The head of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) on Saturday vowed to take “strong enforcement action” against unruly passengers following reports of supporters of U.S. President Donald Trump disrupting flights returning from Washington.

Dickson said “unruly passenger behavior ... can distract, disrupt and threaten crewmembers’ ability to conduct their key safety functions.” He added the “FAA will pursue strong enforcement action against anyone who endangers the safety of a flight, with penalties ranging from monetary fines to jail time.

The FAA opened more than 1,300 enforcement actions against unruly passengers during the past decade, including recent cases for interfering with and assaulting flight attendants who instructed them to wear masks.

More at link. Why are they not being met by police upon disembarking from planes? Newsweek article quoted FAA person talking about numerous passenger tracking programs in place, so hopefully their info will be fed to FBI!

Far as I know, if you fart too loud on a flight, you will be met with extreme force & remanded to custody, so not sure why this is being allowed.

He was right about so much of what he said, I wish he would leave off his race obsession. I watched the tapes of the mob, and there were, too, black and brown faces among them. Far more important was the lack of law enforcement and the difficulty of getting them support. THAT was planned in advance, which means the whole thing was planned in advance. Moore was spot on about the Capitol building. That place is a maze. I‘ve been in there enough. The fact that the mob knew where to go means they were given instructions. I say waterboard them until they say from whom, or else this will become routine.

I live in redneck TN. Had to grocery shop today & was terrified to leave my house. Very high % of white males look & behave like the insurgents!

Got through it without incident & am now stocked up through the end of the month, but gawd, this is just not normal.

Some years ago while working in downtown Chicago I was reading a book about Ted Bundy. I got off the metra train & caught myself in a state of mild paranoia. Same feeling today being out & about among knuckle draggers.
