And I think the current leadership in the DOD would have happily obliged. What saved us, I believe, is that the Joint Chiefs of Staff as well as other upper military brass would not go along with Trump’s seditious plans. This is all just speculation on my part of course but I think when the facts come out they will show this to be the case.

He planned it long ago. He put his civilian goons in the DoD, thinking that the military would just follow their orders. He has no understanding that ALL the military in every branch are schooled in not obeying illegal orders. That the top brass take seriously their oath and their personal honor to defend the constitution.
