I think there is an opportunity for Biden
There is going to be a lot of pressure for center-ish Republicans to set themselves apart from the hard core Trump crowd, and they can do it by playing ball with Biden (being bipartisan - "Statesmanlike"
on things like Covid, climate, health care, infrastructure, renewable energy, etc.
I think there is enough leverage with at least half a dozen GOP Senators, that Joe Manchin may not be as much a lynchpin as the conventional wisdom has been saying.
Biden might be able to tell Manchin to vote however he needs to on his issues, because Romney, Sasse, and Murkowski are on board.
