It would totally blow back in his face, but he is so desperate and enraged right now, his already bad decision making may become bad on an epic level. I bet I am not the only one here who thinks there is at least a 25% chance if not greater, he does at least one more completely idiotic, desperate thing. Didn't Hitler continue to do completely desperate, idiotic moves after there was no way he could win? Someone extremely powerful about to lose their power, with severe narcissistic personality disorder, spiraling out of control; seems like an explosive cocktail for epic stupidity.

(2,475 posts)And he didn't go with the 25th, why would a little martial law upset him?

(22,133 posts)I can't believe that trump is so quiet, it's scary almost. I really think that Pence laid down the law or did in fact, 25th trump out. We just don't know it yet, and maybe won't, they're keeping it quiet until trump is gone.

(28,946 posts)I know Pence would take over right away but wouldn't something like that have been public or could Pelosi be keeping it quiet since there is so little time left?

(31,261 posts)Maybe Pence got all the signatures that he needed, then showed it to Trump, san Pences signature.

Pence is long gone by the time all of this would happen.

(31,261 posts)If Trump calls ML, McConnell likely call Senators back that day for an instant trial. Because if Trump calls ML and the SS has to drag Trump out of the White House, and the GOP does nothing, the GOP is dead.

(16,927 posts)Forget about Pence - he ain't gonna' do squat!
But if IQ45 DOES try something, ole' Moscow Mitch can hit back REAL FAST (well, as fast as an old-fart turtle can hit) - and it'll be "Bye-bye" Donnie - and forget about the pension, SS coverage, office fees, etc., etc!!! Oh, and a probable "chauffer" ride to a New York courthouse - compliments of the USA!
