LOS ANGELES (AP) — Phil Spector, the eccentric and revolutionary music producer who transformed rock music with his “Wall of Sound” method and who later was convicted of murder, has died. He was 81.

California state prison officials said he died Saturday of natural causes at a hospital.

Spector was convicted of murdering actress Lana Clarkson in 2003 at his castle-like mansion on the edge of Los Angeles. After a trial in 2009, he was sentenced to 19 years to life.

Clarkson, star of “Barbarian Queen” and other B-movies, was found shot to death in the foyer of Spector’s mansion in the hills overlooking Alhambra, a modest suburban town on the edge of Los Angeles.

... real secret: I forgot the link accidentally this one time. Check out my journal: my format is rigid. Four paragraphs, indication of edits, and the link in the second to fourth line of the body.

I don't know, but it just felt like as little as I liked Spector maybe a word about him might have been nicely expressed before giving me the ruler whack.

Others here have caught me a few times and actually posted the link for me which I also inserted by edit. I've even found a few that I found by others that I searched the headline or first sentence of, and posted the link myself.

It's Sunday morning can we try to be a little lighter.

Coffee, radio, DU, NYT, kindness to my fellow man.

Phil just isn't worth being mope slapped for, for sure!
