I can't believe I'm writing this. Campaign spokesperson Hogan Gidley claims on Fox News President Trump can't denounce Capitol attack more because he doesn't have a platform.
" He) can't say anything because the platforms have removed him," Gidley says.

Unlike Twitter, people might actually ask him questions.

(12,904 posts)Actually makes me wonder a few things.
The president should be able to easily get his message out.
Is Trump unable to perform at a press conference, or to handle speaking to the public using network time (Fox or others)?
If so, who was running his social media? How did they determine the content of his posts? Tweets and parler posts are not governing
Is Trump really still the president?
This raises far more questions for me than answers, Hogan.

A) "He betrayed us".
B) "He was forced".
C) "His family was threatened".
D) "He was using coded language to show he didn't really condemn the rioters.

(82,849 posts)Didn't your boss lose his platforms not because he was denouncing the Capitol attack, but because he was encouraging it and lying about it? In the world of personal responsibility, that's called the normal and natural consequences of a person's reckless actions.
