(4,890 posts)They had no receipts for the goods they removed from the store, the money was proffered, but not accepted by the store, so they were not purchased.

(4,890 posts)We have a lot of rightwing cops here. These incidents are happening all over Oregon and they are refusing to charge them.
I think customers in these stores need to start shouting them down when they arrive:
"Stop abusing essential workers!"

(34,074 posts)When a crime is committed, the state is the victim. The store is merely a witness - which can be subpoeaned like any other witness.

I am tired, tired of these people.

(47,501 posts)apparently need a cause and of all the worthy causes in the world to choose from, they decided shopping maskless was just the right one for them. Abandoned pets, homelessness, disabled vets, abused children, endangered species? Apparently, those were just not sexy enough. They decided shopping without a mask and embarrassing themselves on camera was.
Plus, I suppose they thought they'd get more "likes" on Twitter and maybe make them famous. Yes, I am also very tired of these people. Can't they go back to watching The Bachelorette and throwing Tupperware parties?

(47,501 posts)and couldn't find anything, except for Congress's right to "regulate commerce" which was a clause in the constitution. They are just making shit up as they go and they think that store clerks are too stupid to know better.

(473 posts)When Pence said that the administration cant have a mask mandate because its a violation of peoples rights?
Hmmm, seatbelts are required to save lives, science proves masks do. Sure, not everyone wears seatbelts, but for those of us who do, we never claim we are exercising our right to do so?
Not much different than the evangelical lunatics who interpret the Bible for their liking and dont believe Jesus was a man of color and a Jew.
PatSeg
(47,501 posts)wouldn't raise a stink if a store required them to wear shoes or a shirt while shopping. No one would be screaming, "You are breaking the law" or "violating my constitutional rights and my right to commerce."
As for Jesus, their version of Jesus doesn't resemble anything in any bible I've ever read.

Sell us your goods, lady.
Illegal?
When does that stop Trumpsters?
You would deny us the right to commerce?
