If Trump wants to make the full trip to WPB on AF1, he needs to leave Andrews by 9.15 am

After 12 noon, he has ZERO authority over the aircraft.

I would love it if the pilot had orders to put down in some remote airport and drop him off. Of course it won't happen, but I would LOVE it if it did.

EDIT TO ADD: Given some of the replies, let me make something clear: THIS IS A JOKE POST. A dream. Not a prediction or even a possibility.

They don't have to change the aircraft its just no longer designated AF1 when he's not president.

the outgoing President is allowed one last flight on the plane (to their destination). The pilots will take him to Florida, no question.

It is a tradition. Trump has broken many so it would be a wonderful payback for Biden to break this one.

I’m going to hold on to the hope he’s outta here at 9:15 AM. But, anything after noon requires permission of the Commander-in-Chief and I do believe Trump is to arrogant to request.

According to Sports Illustrated's Rick Riley, Trump is actually a lot of fun to play golf with. He's magnanimous, he covers the caddies' tips and he (usually) buys lunch.

Still, I cannot fathom spending 5 minutes with him let alone the 4-5 hours needed for a round of golf. Additionally, I really hate it when someone obviously cheats on the course. Either play by the rules and ruthlessly keep your score or don't and just have fun. I hate the bending of the rules because it means the score is untrue.

I was overjoyed when the P.G.A. decided to pull their championship from Trump Bedminster! That must have been a severe kick to the gut for Trump!

...that Trump will time his flight so that when he comes down the stairs at the end, he is still president for at least an hour.

This will have three effects.

First, the US Marshals on the plane won't be able to arrest him since he will still have sovereign immunity.

Second, the process servers, cops, US Marshals, Mafia contract killers and everyone else waiting for his ass when it gets to Florida won't be able to act against him due to that sovereign immunity.

And finally, the fact the cops and hitmen can't act against him while he's still president will give him time to board Mike Lindell's private jet and go into exile in a country with no extradition treaty with the US before his term ends.

The only hope America has is for the pilots of Air Force One to fly about 250 miles per hour all the way down there, and then circle the airport for about an hour waiting for a landing slot. "Sorry, Mr. President, but we've been delayed...it seems that there's an American Airlines flight full of live chicks that has to take off right now so they get to Arkansas before they have to be fed, a JetBlue flight has a little old lady on it that says she 'really needs to pee' so they have to get down right now, a United flight says they're out of coffee and the passengers are rioting, Frontier has two flights ahead of us that say they're completely out of gas...not to mention there's an Allegiant flight full of your supporters the police have to take into custody before the airport can reopen...yes I know the presidential plane has priority over all other traffic but those are emergencies, especially the one with the empty coffee pot...no, we're 18th in line for landing, don't worry, we'll be on the ground by 1 pm."
