Edit to add: maybe the jagoff who lives in my neighborhood with the Blue Lives Matter flag will finally take it down.

I think he was injured and knocked out for a time.

the one that died when the beat him with a fire extinguisher. both happens on the steps to the capitol.

I can't find the image showing him face down on the step with a pool of blood around his head... but it was on the internet shortly after the insurrection

face-down wasn't Capitol police, he was DC Metro, from what I understand--I think that was Officer Fanone, who was interviewed this week. (Neck tattoo guy.) I haven't been able to find any information about where Sicknick was struck with the extinguisher, or footage of his attack. There were other officers hit by flying extinguishers on camera. I think Sicknick did not collapse or die on the steps, he went back to his office and collapsed there later, and then died at the hospital. It's all very confusing, though, and you may have more accurate information.
