Another brilliant decision by Nancy Pelosi: the appointment of Stacey Plaskett as a House Manager

She is the Congresswoman from the USVI, one of six such non voting reps of US territories.

She was just on Politics Nation. She was remarking on how appropriate it was, symbolically, a representative of the millions of unrepresented American citizens gets to prosecute the impeachment of a miscreant president.

First off, she is not a senator, she is an impeachment manager ftom the house. Secondly and she was very eloquent on that neither her or her constituants get to vote. She does not vote in congress either.

....help put together the case.

None of the Managers will vote, they're all Representatives. Only Senators will wind up voting.

its a perfect way to highlight the fact some citizens have no representation. Maybe Pelosi is prepping the grounds for a push to statehood for those who want it.

For DC , for Puerto Rico (both have held votes supporting statehood) , and consideration of statehood for any other US possession or territory that expresses an interest in it.

This needs to be a priority in 2021. Statehood in 2021 for AT LEAST DC and PR.
