My theory about why Trump issued the last minute declassification order.

Except that my theory depends on someone close to Trump being clever.

OK, just for the fun of it, let's imagine that someone clever is still close to Trump.

He issued the de-classification of the Russia probe order so late that it "couldn't physically happen before noon tomorrow" (some smart talking head on Rachel), so that the declassification would never happen BUT he had created another biggish lie that the Russia Probe contained information that would be good for Trump. Ha! Since we'll never see it, the lie can grow and grow.

BUT. This is predicated on someone close to Trump being clever....

Assuming there's anything in there of note. The whole Crossfire Hurricane thing always sounded like a cheap spy novel, or an old episode of Man From UNCLE. Check that, an episode of Get Smart.

4. First off it is not going to happen

because of all the Departments it has to clear. Secondly,sources is what Diaper Don was after,he wanted our Sources to be exposed so as to give his Russian handler the names or locations of the sources used to collect this Intel.

He only knows snippets of text that someone else told him. Like many of his other declassified outings there will be stuff that makes him look bad, but he was only interested in the parts that aligned with his claims.
