Just got an email that my vaccination schedule for tomorrow

has been put off until next week. New York has run out of vaccines.
This is because Operation Warp Fucking Speed is a complete disaster and another example of the complete shit show that was the last four years.
More people will die because with a year of preparation, they could not make a workable vaccination plan.

1. I hear ya

In my state there are 10 times as many applicants as slots available. When they come open twice a week online they are gone in a few seconds. Keep hoping I'm not one of those who dies before getting it. What a disaster but was what to be expected. And now we can expect it to be fixed.

2. I've been trying to schedule...

an appointment, but none are available. As it stands right now, it could be the middle of April before I can get an appointment. I'm in group 1b, so if you extrapolate, the general public should get theirs somewhere around the end of the year, or early 2022.

I'm really hoping President Biden (it feels so great writing that) can shake the bushes and get this thing going.

3. our hospital has an excess they need to get into arms in 48 hours...hubby is a hospital

...commissioner and hes getting info for me to schedule. He just had his 2nd one yesterday.

5. In last 1/2 hour got a call from the Indian Health Care (IHS) Clinic

where I was scheduled for January 28, they moved me up to January 27.

Note I am not Native American but live very rural in an IHS service area.
