Biden Team Snubs Outgoing Pentagon Chief in Transition Spat
President-elect Joe Bidens team denied Acting Defense Secretary Christopher Millers request for transition space at the Pentagon after he leaves office on Wednesday, a courtesy normally extended at the Defense Department.
The Biden transition told Millers team that it had denied his request for transition office space for himself and a handful of aides, in a reversal from past practice, according to a senior Defense Department official.
...
Bidens team didnt give a reason for the denial, though the official said Millers team believed it was payback over the contention by Biden and his staff that the Trump administration sought to delay and obstruct the transition at the Defense Department. Early in January, incoming White House spokeswoman Jen Psaki said the transition team was encountering intransigence in the department and Office of Management and Budget, as well as other places that weve had ongoing concern.

(14,924 posts)the transcripts of Trump's corrupt Ukraine phone calls on the super-secret server. He's also the one who carried out Trump's placement of Michael Ellis as NSA head attorney in the 11th hour over the protest just about everyone. He also gave that incoherent interview recently in which he praised Russia and said, as another poster pointed out, that he couldn't wait to leave. Who would have kept a guy like that around a moment longer than necessary?

(10,165 posts)It's not like Miller (did Donnie have an unusual number of Millers working for him? I get them mixed up) was there long enough to settle in anyway.
