All formatting is gone - just text, like the earliest earliest webpages. no images.
I tried signing out, and now can't sign back in. Any ideas are appreciated.

UPDATE
Closed my Edge browser, downloaded Chrome, and then went back to Edge. Problem has resolved. I don't know if it is cause and effect, but thanks to everyone for your ideas!

(3,579 posts)Messages would lock up in the middle of reading them (couldn't scroll), or I couldn't click and select which message to read from my inbox. I couldn't even jump back to the front page of Yahoo. I had to quit the browser to make mail work properly at least until the next time the same problems happened.

(4,895 posts)I was using the Edge Browser. My BIL suggested trying Chrome, and then switching back. It worked. Thanks!

(36,444 posts)It's acted up in the past, but relaunching my browser generally fixes it.
Just an idea.

(4,895 posts)It was fine this morning. All the other pages look fine. When you say relaunching your browser, does that happen when I restart?
Thanks

(36,444 posts)I'm not tech savvy, but have you tried just closing the browser, then relaunching it?

(9,983 posts)after I got hacked. I had two separate Yahoo e-mails, on two separate browsers, that both got hacked about a year apart. After that I said screw Yahoo and I never looked back.

(43,192 posts)I get ads, I get audio clips, I get deletes. There's no way to leave because there's no way to transfer 22 years and 11,000 emails. So I stay and put up with it. I suppose none of it's important. Hoping to put life on autopilot someday. The internet is not the novelty it was in 1999. It's a pain in the butt.
Been using Yahoo email just fine on my desktop all day today.
I have the bare bones version and it is not the best.
But I have had it for nearly 20 years and hate the thoughts of updating to a new one.
I might when I retire and start anew.
