Wanted to understand the point. Didn't.

4. Is anyone else irritated at the thought of a 23 year old

being sent to cover the president of the United States for a major news outlet? Most especially THIS president, at a time when our democracy was hanging by a thread?

She all but admits she was overwhelmed and inexperienced. That she didn't understand the policy implications of the inside gossip she was reporting.

It seems to me almost frivolous to send someone that young and inexperienced to do a job like this, when there was so much at stake.
