Across the upper Midwest!

A big snow storm is moving in! Omaha and surrounding areas could see up to 15 inches of snow, but near Sioux Falls, SD won’t get any and Kansas City will be getting more ice! So, if you’re traveling in these areas, play it smart and go slow. I have appointment this morning, to get my new cast, but going to cancel it because it has started here in Omaha is only going to get worse By 8 am. This storm will head and will be in Chicago later tonight through Tuesday morning.

There were times you never knew when you went to work if you'd actually make it home that night or spend the night in a motel room. Once after a storm when I went to start my car when it turned over I heard a "twang" then nothing. Blowing snow had blown up inside the engine compartment and frozen solid. The twang was the belts breaking as the started tried to turn them.

Good luck up there, you can have it!

We're in the 8-12 band, with wind picking up this evening. Not likely to get here until 1-1:30. Slow mover.
