It is crime, morons!

What Trump did, done and will do is a crime! So, quit covering for his illegal actions!

No excuses! If the shoe was other foot(Dems)? The GOPers would be crawling all over each other to convict!

They don't want to be seen as approving of the insurrection and the rhetoric that led to it and they also don't want to anger their stupid base by voting for conviction. That's why idiots like Rubio say it should be up to the voters and preventing someone from running again by impeachment is wrong. That's why they pretend to question whether it's constitutional to convict a President who is out of office.
They should only judge the action, nothing else but they are running away from that.

They are so happy with this unconstitutional argument. It relieves them of all responsibility. They like the judgment part, being judged, not so much.
