Ohio Senator Portman not running in 2022

This will be either good or bad news....the good news is Portman was a shoe-in to win so the Democrats have a 50/50 chance to win now....the bad news is that if the Democrats don’t win then whoever the Republican is will be further to the right of Portman..

Portman was a reliable trumpet who voted with him like 94% of the time and stood by silently and enabled the worst of MAGA. He voted against witnesses in the impeachment trial and rubber stamped all of the appointments.

He just figured out how to do it behind an under the radar veneer of moderation.

TL;DR He's moved as far right as any of them. He's just better at being a snake.
