Something I think we need to improve in our efforts to turn this mess around

is to work harder at making the word "conservatives" one of the dirtiest words in the English language. People all over need to be made more aware that today's conservatives are not the same conservatives of 40 or 50 years ago. They are much worse. They are anti-democracy. We need to make "conservatives" a horrible word, one that sounds as bad as any C word there is.

In some of my travels across rural areas, I don't know how many times I've seen huge signs on the sides of barns, on the sides of scrapped 18-wheelers, or in the middle of fields stating in large block letters, "LIBERALS HAVE RUINED THIS COUNTRY" and signs that are much worse but often with the word "Liberals" or sometimes substituting the word "Democrats" instead. It's really disturbing to see such signs when anyone with a brain knows that it's the conservatives who are doing their best to ruin everything.

Even in Congress, the foul-mouthed conservofascists such as Graham, McConnell and their disgusting ilk often do their best to treat the words "liberals" & "the far left" as if they are words straight out of hell. It's all part of their well organized attempt to make it embarrassing for younger voters, or anyone for that matter, to become a dreaded "card carrying liberal." Newt Gingrich and Rush Limbaugh made livings out of it.

We should do a better job at doing the same thing to the word "conservatives." My encounters with Republicans these days are limited, mostly on purpose, but whenever the timing is just right for some political discourse, the first words out of my mouth are "Conservatives have ruined this country."

I think this country will stand a little better chance at becoming more unified once the word "conservatives" has the same connotation as the word "shit."

We should also not be afraid to label them “fascists”. Because that’s what a large number of them are.

I am not sure why the Ds don't use this particular "F word" far more often. That is what it is (to paraphrase a very large doubly impeached former Dear Leader).

It's simple marketing: come up with one word that describes what has happened to this country, and use it relentlessly.

Worked to subjugate and enslave women
turn back the clock on civil rights and voting rights

I like this approach and will do my best to use the words “conservative agenda” in all my communication

Because Republicans are good at putting a positive spin on it

destroy workers rights - they say ‘Right to work’

Worked to subjugate and enslave women - they say ‘Pro life’

turn back the clock on civil rights and voting rights - they say terms like ‘every legal vote should count’, ‘we need to eliminate voter fraud’, ‘we need election integrity’, ‘this is cancel culture’, ‘the woke mob’

intensive messaging campaign on television and online to highlight all the wonderful things Dems have done in the past, are doing now, and will do in the future.

We need more AM and FM talk radio shows, too. We need to do everything the Republican propaganda machine is doing, but better, and with a message of hope, positive change, and unity.

labeling, along with red and blue, left and right and anything that oversimplifies what ought to be a more and more thoughtful discussion of history, politics, economics and culture, not a more partisan and emotional bunch of football-playing.

Television and the Big Feed on internet screens is a real problem here, and I really don’t know if there’s a fix for that. I do know that demonizing a particular label is not helpful.
