Attorney Rudy Giuliani fired back on Monday after he was hit with a Dominion Voting Systems lawsuit that seeks $1.3 billion in damages.

Giuliani responded in a statement later on Monday.

"Dominion's defamation lawsuit for $1.3B will allow me to investigate their history, finances and practices fully and completely," the statement said. "The amount being asked for is, quite obviously, intended to frighten people of faint heart."

According to Giuliani, the lawsuit "is another act of intimidation by the hate-filled left-wing to wipe out and censor the exercise of free speech, as well as the ability of lawyers to defend clients vigorously."

The statement added: "As such, we will investigate a countersuit against them for violating these Constitutional rights."

Eh, Rudy you don't have a Constitutional right to slander people.

about this company's machines which was totally false. You deserve to lose every cent that you have, in falsely claiming that the voting machines were defective, adding incorrectly, adding extra votes to a candidate, etc. All sorts of nonsense. And what's really good about this lawsuit, Dominion will simply point to the numerous public statements you made in public falsely implying issues w/ the voting machines, when there was none. Dominion adhered to whatever was required of it by the various states using their machines - whether Rudy likes that or not. Rudy has no standing to start digging into Dominion's records. He has to prove what he said was true - which he can't because it isn't true. He has to establish that it wasn't careless or malicious and he's going to have a tough time with that when he repeated it 50 plus times but wouldn't say such a thing to a court - so he knew it was bogus.

This case is not going to trial. Maybe Rudy can rent a room from Trump wherever Trump goes so Trump cannot be extradited.
