These people. They claim 1/6 attack on the US Capitol was a “false flag” orchestrated so Democrats can seize total power. This is the official Republican line in Oregon. How can there be unity when one side is batcrap crazy?

2. The Oregon Republican Party was once a beacon of leadership

The traditions of the Oregon GOP have been shredded.

Oregon Republicans of the past included:

Mark Hatfield... a principled pacifist who vigorously opposed the Vietnam War.

Tom McCall who was a bi-partisan champion for the environmental movement. He saved Oregon public beaches.

Bob Packwood who was a loud voice for women's rights.

Gordon Smith who led the fight for education and mental health investments

Vic Atiyeh and Norma Paulus who built coalitions to bridge urban and rural policy issues.

These are the Oregon Republicans of the past. The party made a horrific swing to the right in the 1990s. They have won exactly ONE statewide election in this century. They nominated a Q-Anon looney for US Senate in 2020. She got nearly 40% of the vote!

6. That's logical: Stop the Steal of Certifying the Election for our Candidate

President Elect Joe Biden & Vice President Elect Kamala Harris. It makes so much sense that we would steal the vote from ourselves.
