4. Used to respect Castor

He was DA when we lived in Montgomery County and presided over a lot of high profile crimes. He was aggressive pursuing some awful things that people could have gotten away with. Wasn’t living there anymore when the Cosby case came up. He seems too intelligent and realistic to deal with Trump, plus although a Repug he was never a real RWNJ. However he LOVES to see his name in print.
One of the cases I remember well was a self-employed (unsuccessful) investment banker whose wife “accidentally” drowned in the bathtub, leaving the guy with a young daughter and a huge life insurance payout. Being Jewish, she was buried right away and the husband thought that’s how he’d get away with it. Castor thought this didn’t pass the smell test and after extensive digging found some papers where (before the death) the guy figured the life insurance payout into his budget. He got life no parole (standard for 1st degree murder in PA). But he could have easily gotten away with it.
