I have seen several people on here and elsewhere who refer to Amy Coney Barrett as a handmaid. Maybe these people aren’t familiar with the story, but we need to change that reference! The hand maids are the protagonists in the story, and they are the resistance against Gilead. The handmaids are the people we root for!

Coney Barrett is more like Serena Joy or one of the Wives - they are the ones who oppress the Marthas and the handmaids. Or maybe she’s an Aunt, the ones who enforce the rules!
