From the bottom of mine! I'd love to return the favor to every single one of you - DU has been my home and my educator since (and now I know the exact date thanks to our excellent administrators, EarlG and Elad!) February 25, 2003!
But since I can't heart every single one of my smart and kind fellow DUers, please do me a favor and instead of hearting me, give that heart to someone here who's been overlooked or who posts something that adds to your knowledge or touches your own heart. I've learned from reading the wonderful and heartfelt thank you messages about how much that can mean and I wanted to add my thanks and appreciation as well.

(206,137 posts)And I've never been all that prolific, didn't post on the board all that much until I started posting the late night political guys after I turned to watching them to avoid mainstream Trump news! But I've been a mod, then a host and then a frequent MIRTer - that's been a small way to give back for all I've received here. And that's required a lot of posting!

(19,204 posts)and its greatly appreciated. I've never been able to commit to being a Mod because of my back problems. I can't sit at my computer more than 10 mins. at a time. You folks do all the heavy lifting. Have a wonderful day.

(8,208 posts)I'll look for someone else who needs one, but this is a good time to let you know how much I appreciate your posting the late night videos. I'm a morning person without cable TV and I look forward to seeing your posts every morning.
Edited to add: thank you to whoever gave me a heart!

(206,137 posts)And that's one reason I post them since I know that not everyone here stays up as late as I do - and I figured that we could use some humor with our news, especially these days! Thank you for letting me know, you're exactly why I post them - morning folks and those without cable - or even TV.

(206,137 posts)I hope that all is well and that the weather is being kind to you. I just took my dog out and it's snowing here - again (and he's not a fan of winter any more than I am).
Thanks so much for the kind wishes, as always!

Take care.

(206,137 posts)We all have enough worries as it is these days. I had a medical checkup so I got a flu shot, hope to get the vaccine eventually, but it's only been available to front line workers and nursing homes in these parts. My friend who works in the ER just got her second Pfizer vaccine shot, but had to drive an hour to a major hospital downstate to get it - but at least the situation is finally looking up!
Be careful out there - I can identify with the roads. I'm only going out when I have to, these days. Same thing with my dog...
