Journalism is her job.

By the way, I looked tired this morning, too. I had to work on a project until 2:00 am. I doubt that you or anyone else should care if I look tired.

TV talking heads, even the great ones like Rachel, have a professional obligation to present themselves with decorum unless the circumstances are exceptional, like in a war zone.

To be clear, I admire and respect Ms. Maddow. But if she's tired, I really don't care because so am I.
