Trynta wrap my head around this...

Trump has no power....he is no longer President. He no longer holds office...Yet he holds so much power over the Repubs in Senate. Really, is it really that they’re afraid of being primaried? How much longer do they expect him to even be relevant or even alive? He’s a fat, old, unhealthy, stupid white guy who is courting dementia and will probably be forgotten in a couple of years, yet they act like he has the reins to reality wrapped around their necks. I’m telling you....he’s got something on all of them. I keep sayin’...just wait.

3. He certainly seems to ahve dirt on alot of them

But then, that's how a mob boss would work. Put them into a compromising situation, make them commit a crime, and then hold it against them .... and don't be surprised if the common link is Epstein

4. I think it is more that the Russians have something on all the conspirators.

I believe that the Russians infiltrated the Dominionist and The Family and began the long game of rising to power in American politics under the guise of religious freedom.

I know, crazy...call me crazy.

5. Exactly.

I remember early on in his Presidency, all the GOP were having a gathering with him in the Rose Garden, and at one point, he pointed out with a sweeping gesture towards all of them there and said "I know stuff about all these guys." (maybe not exact words, but close)....I'm sure that was one of his first orders of business as President - to get dirt on all the politicians or find out was was already on file about them so he could keep them under his thumb. He's a mobster, plain and simple.

6. I am thinking they got off on his insurrection. They admire that kind of political warfare.

They are willing to live under a dictator. Their only regret is that it failed.

8. I think a very big part of it is that they fear for their lives...

And the lives of their families. Literally. His cult followers are batshit crazy and they have a special ire for Republicans who don't sufficiently toe the Trump line. Anytime one of them gets uppity and speaks out or does their job, the death threats start and they have to get round-the-clock security.

These people are nuts.

9. I've been thinking the same thing.

When Pence refused to invoke the 25th amendment, it seemed like it had to be because he feared 45's mob. It certainly couldn't be out of loyalty to 45 at that point.

The senators who are so blind because they will not see probably fall into that category too. If even Fauci can become a target, they surely can.

Still - cowardice is not an excuse to betray your country.

10. He has the support of the right wing media and that's what today's Republicans follow.
