I could not agree more. I never did watch morning cable news, I can imagine it is full of right wing propaganda.

I would much rather talk about the great job our president is doing. Pass that rescue bill and don't water it down, the people love it, fuck the GQP.

There is no need to show his picture multiple times or at all - everytime you mention his name. Just stop it already.

If the MSM would have ignored him from the start - he'd have slunked off into non-existence. The MSM glorified him. He used you MSM. Just like he's using his MAGA followers now.

Big advantages of print journalism are that it IS journalism, not talking heads (often the same ones!) discussing the same limited selections every hour, and that you have a whole world of informative, and often antidotal , topics to choose from in every edition.

He doesn’t bring in clicks and views like Trump does. He’s not controversial or dangerous. They’re deathly afraid of losing their audience.

They will be talking about Trump every day for years to come. The freak show will continue, and both the media and Trump know it.

The media’s “job” first and foremost (in their eyes) is to manufacture a sensationalist story that leads to an audience, which leads to money. Trump was perfect - he gave them what they wanted every day. It was a symbiotic relationship.

They’ve always wanted him to win. It’s all about money.
