EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.![]() And they do it without any shame at all. Every single time they leave office a Democratic President has to clean up the shit and the deficits they left behind, and every single time they turn around and blame it on the chaps and chapettes cleaning up after their right wing nasty. ![]() I would call them hypocrites but that would be an insult too hypocrites!

24. He's wrong that back then, the 1960's, you could
retire on Social Security. It was never that generous, and was always intended to be one leg of a three-legged stool. The other two being savings and a pension. Although most people never had much of a pension.

3. With narcissistic right looking "forward" only is poor messaging. They need consummate I told you
... you so's because they're simple minds will fail to connect the dots of their actions to consequences.
The I told you so's needs to be consummate in public so they are widely known even in MAGA Media. |

6. Predictably and sadly,
the Dems will clean up the Republicans mess and the Republicans, having blamed the Dems for the mess they created, will take back some combination of the White House/Senate/House with lies and deceit and the pattern will repeat ad infinitum.

7. Let us not forget that after Democrats have fixed everything, they take power and they want to take
credit for what the Democrats fixed. Just like trump trying to take credit for an economy he didn't fix and which later he destroyed, and Biden is going to have to fix, AGAIN!
Watch Ted Cruz take credit for what AOC and Beto are doing for Texas...IT IS the Democrats who are helping Texas, not the republicans. |

8. Republicans leave a "totally fucked up country" for everyone except their wealthy donors.
Then, after looting the treasury and ensuring government doesn't work for the majority of Americans, Republicans predictably demand more tax cuts, deregulation, austerity and privatization as the only possible solutions when Democrats come to power.

11. Disgustsing
There would be enough for everyone if billionaires would be satisfied with less. Most are little rich kids that have never learned how to do with less or care about anyone but themselves. I've seen this same scenario all my life. They are a bunch of greedy, heartless and disgusting human beings. The billionaires do not need to live on the 'high' plane they live on, because they have succeeded, and usually it's because of huge handouts they have inherited, they should be made to take care of the planet and the people on it!!!

9. I like Biden's messaging. He clearly says the former guy
Left no plan for getting the vaccines into arms, etc. then follows it up by describing what he’s doing. Rinse and repeat.

14. It's how they prevent real progress...
Dems are always playing catch-up, trying to unfuck repub messes and can't really work to make things better when they're just trying to get back to where it was 4-8 years prior. I'm actually starting to like the Biden campaign slogan better and better. At first I thought "Build Back Better" sounded kind of clunky and hokey, but it makes a point. We don't have to just recover from repub fuckupedness, we need real improvements in the lives of Americans, the kind of progress we experienced between the 1940's and the 1970's. To do that, we need to crush repubs like we're trying to crush the coronavirus.

15. W was the worst
Took Clinton's economic surplus, threw it all away & plunged us into the greatest depression since Great one, also caused by repugs. Every depression/recession since the Civil War happened under repugs except the one that followed WWII.

22. the Iraq clusterfuck was the greatest Political Blunder in the US
since Vietnam... probably greater in incompetence.
It's real effect was destabilizing the MIddle East and leading to millions of deaths. Without the Shrub War, there's be no ISIS, war in Syria or assorted turmoil. Shrub said "everyone deserves freedumb". Not true. Sometimes cultures aren't ready for it. If Shrub was smart (he wasn't) here's what he would have done. GWB: Hey Saddam, you're still an asshole for plotting to kill my Dad and here's the deal. With this 911 thing, I can get away with pounding your ass to dust and turning Baghdad into an ash tray. But here's what we're going to do. If you come out publicly and admit to being a dooshbag, stop all hostility towards the West and work WITH the US, I'll get sanctions lifted and support your government. Keep your people in line, use your State intel service to help us hunt down AQ and their ilk... work with us and we'll also back you vs Iran. And there ya go... no war and a more stable Middle East. |

16. Every day the hype and scream machine amplifies -- a tan suit, posed joke photo, one
mistake, almost always trifling and minor -- the false equivalency playbook that corporations use to shut up the whole truth.
It's their war of attrition. It's the corporate messaging war of attrition against human democratic governance and control of the means of production of this nation. Joe and Bernie know this. To watch their master class in knowing which battles to pick, is to learn how to not let this war get us down. |
