(4,463 posts)... republican senators from Barrs various hearings where they praised him nauseatingly. Pitch them back at them, and then say I will conduct myself with exactly the same integrity, impartiality and professionalism as AG Barr. You're ok with that, senator, arent you?
He could add a Just kidding if he wants to.

(11,744 posts)Republicans are concerned with an AG bringing politics THEY DON'T LIKE into the job. They have no problem with any official promoting conservative policies.
Similar to the above statement, for future reference:
Republicans are not concerned with the size of government. They are only concerned with the function of government. They will grow government to whatever size they feel is necessary to enforce conservative ideas.
Republicans are for family values, as long as the family is White, heterosexual, Protestant Christian, and conservative. They do not care about adultery, abortion, or any of the other values they screech about, as long as you keep it quiet and as long as it is being done by a rich White man.
