Did Rush Limbaugh serve in the military?

If not, why was there a US flag on his coffin and a military honor guard at his funeral? I just saw a picture someone put out on FB of his coffin. Is it because he got the medal of freedom from orange menace?

People are free to be buried with any flag they want. He just couldn't be buried in a military cemetery.
