This ad using President Biden to attack "Democratic Socialists" aired this morning on Morning Joe.

If I didn’t know better, and as of now I don’t, this seems a Roger Stone class dirty trick. Who and what is the “Don’t Bankrupt New York Coalition” that sponsored the ad?https://share.icloud.com/photos/0yFvGmo229rTY427tLpWruqjg

1. My guess would be some of the same folks that bankroll the Problem Makers Caucus.

The Dem-Socialists steamrolled the state Democratic Party leadership here in Nevada recently. Blue dogs are freaked out.

He's more the militia & digging up Sex smears to damage Democrats type.
This isn't Stone's m.o.

Who is behing the "Don’t Bankrupt New York Coalition"?
If they sponsored the ad, there must be a source to their 'cause'

3. Okay, just saw the ad. That's weird, and highly questionable.

The group's about rebuilding NY's crumbling infrastructure. Biden certainly wouldn't approve, Albany's not full of Democratic Socialists and who'd say so?

5. Right. see below. Dirty anti-tax players, don't believe for a moment

they're allied in any way with Democrats or pro-Biden.

Searching on that brought up this article on a dirty anti-tax group with a different name, "Campaign for New York's Future." Don't Bankrupt's dishonest snaking around with Biden's name and "evil-socialist takeover" fearmongering with the DS strike me as similar to this group's extreme deceptions.

Is This Pro-NYC Lobbying Group A "Front" For Rich New Yorkers Scared Of Higher Taxes?
https://gothamist.com/news/pro-nyc-lobbying-group-front-rich-new-yorkers-scared-higher-taxes

...Several people online pointed out that the campaign's agenda was at odds with the work of many of the group's listed partners — the New York League of Conservation Voters, for example, as well as the Riders Alliance, which has long called for taxing the wealthy to fund public transit.

By Wednesday afternoon, three of the group's seven partners had ended their affiliation with the campaign.

"We signed on to a coalition effort we hoped would uplift working class bus riders — not billionaires— in New York's reopening and recovery," the Riders Alliance wrote on Twitter, announcing that they were cutting ties with the group.

6. Reason.org appears Libertarian

"Reason Foundation was founded in 1978 and is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization completely supported by voluntary contributions from individuals, foundations, corporations, and the sale of our publications."

Of all the nation’s conservative or free-market policy groups, it may be the most libertarian among them, the Reason Foundation in Southern California, that ends up having the most direct impact on the actual functioning of government.”
– The Wall Street Journal

They also appear to nitpik Biden on several issues.
But that sounds like their entire purpose as they note all the popular issues.

Not entirely impressed...🤔

Meh.

8. Suspect the anti-tax billionaires who were caught out behind one of them

could be behind both. Striking similarities in goal and techniques.

Tusk Strategies is a PR firm involved, and "bare-knuckle" billionaire Paul Singer is mentioned but denies involvement through his spokesmen.
