A Hate Crime Against Women

Most of the victims in the spa murders were Asian; 100% were women, who were killed solely because they were women. If this isn't a hate crime, I don't know what is.

Long answer: A person may be "mentally unfit" but what are their circumstances? Have
they been diagnosed and placed in treatment and are they compliant with that treatment? If not then why not?

In the end incarceration in a secure mental health facility removes this person from being a threat to society just as their incarceration in a secure prison does.

the fellow was a handyman working at the spa. All were human beings.
