BREAKING: G. Gordon Liddy has died at age 90.

His bungling of the Watergate break-in triggered a crisis that eventually led to President Nixon's resignation. He was a remorseless sociopath and served the longest sentence in Federal Prison of any Watergate conspirator.

They used to debate each other during the 90's.

Timothy was a hero compared to Liddy.

How nice of him.

I remember being about 12 or so and I was watching the news, and G. Gordon Liddy came on the screen and my dad began to let out a long string of angry curse words in his direction.

Which was very uncharacteristic for my dad, and knowing very little more about G. Gordon Liddy, I need only infer that he was not a very good man.

That tells the "character" of the conservative.

He will not be missed by the decent.

Maybe this world actually IS hell, and when we die it's our release from it.

And still kept his radio job?

Head shots was not about photography but because said agents would be wearing body armor.

34. John Dean on the death of the "remorseless sociopath":

To save anyone from bothering to look it up, Liddy once held his hand over a candle at a party and when asked how he did it said: "The trick is not minding."

Btw, Dean wrote a book about that old crew, "Conservatives without Conscience" and believes Liddy was one of the authoritarian psychopaths (no conscience) drawn to/by Nixon's presidency.
