1. I think it is a hard case to make that promoting the book exclusively helps him personally

vs politically. yes, I get that he makes money from the book but he also gains publicity as well.

Don’t they all write books and make millions? How is it that most in politics go in with a modest net worth and all leave multimillionaires.
