She is awful. She is having a hard time getting the witness where she wants. It's really slow and convoluted. It's very annoying.

(1,609 posts)She is going round and round the same question 5 or 6 times. Is that intended? To confuse and annoy people?

(40,221 posts)The paramedics and firefighters are not going to provide emotional answers, it is just the laying down of protocol and facts. It doesn't make for interesting television, but it is more of what things are like inside a courtroom.

Trials are boring.

(1,609 posts)She's having a difficult time getting the witness to know exactly what she is asking therefore repeating the same more than 3 or 4 times.

They need to replace her ASAP. She's probably good behind the scenes, but as a questioner in a courtroom she sucks.

(9,581 posts)who said that he told his students to watch her, that she was very good, very human. I think it was Paul, but I could be wrong. I think she had some very nervous witnesses today, and for some reason they seemed defensive to me. Or angry, maybe just at what happened.
Yeah, it was Paul.

(1,609 posts)I did not feel like the witnesses were nervous or angry. I have no doubt she is a fantastic lawyer. She just had a bad day or questioning witnesses is not her strong suit.

(9,581 posts)the two male EMTs were nervous, and sometimes a little angry. Just like the off duty firefighter yesterday was angry. Who wouldn't be?

(14,842 posts)to take the wind out of their sails so to speak... a tactic commonly used by Prosecutors. I watched all of the testimony on Court TV and this opinion was shared by their panel of legal experts during breaks. All of the Prosecuting attorney's used this tactic to differing degrees.
