got it Tues March 30, Thurs April 1 (fools day) I woke up aching all over. I ate breakfast took 4 200mg ibuprofen and went back to bed. Took a 3 plus hour nap and woke up fine, have been fine ever since. I'm so grateful, I've read it could have been a lot worse.

for you! I have fibromyalgia, the vax might have been set it off.

(17,680 posts)He said acetaminophen is fine but not ibuprofen. Im glad it worked for you! They didnt tell me why not and I was too busy to ask. Id love to know.

(32,016 posts)Ibuprofen is anti inflammatory and Tylenol is not, and that you want the inflammation because it helps the vaccine work. They told me dont take anything at all,for 12 hours after not even Tylenol.

(8,036 posts)Head felt a little buzzy driving home from my late afternoon appointment. Arm was a bit sore during the night and yesterday morning. Overall achiness yesterday and this morning, relieved by my favorite anti-inflammatory, strong coffee. Counting days, hours and minutes until my liberation on the 19th!

It's not wholly conclusive but they think it's polyphenols. I wonder if that makes maple syrup anti-inflammatory, because the primary flavor component in maple is a polyphenol.
