(7,533 posts)I wish they had kept her on at noon because this show is too early for me but I'm DVRing it now. I was worried she might not continue her RTT in the morning but it's clear she is coming out swinging, saying FU to the RW media enablers of lying fascism. She is fantastic!
Thanks for posting.

(11,279 posts)the rest of us have been pointing out these blatantly obvious truths about Faux "News" for decades, and CNN has acted like it is above commenting on this fascist propaganda outlet for far too long.
Keeping hitting Faux. Harder!

(58,785 posts)Of course MSNBC's now serving up 2 hours of Camerota's spin to a lot of relatively malleable afternoon viewers. There's always another election coming...
But at least the cons don't have early morning cable monopolized now. Instead of a choice of Scarborough, Fox and Friends, or CNN's Fox Lite, there's now CNN's Berman and Keiler.

(89,278 posts)when she was on Fox she was mostly quiet even they did three right wing crap.
She has her own style but she isn't right wing.

(58,785 posts)from her, and that's even though almost always avoiding her. I have an advantage from reading about various issues of being able, at least sometimes, to notice when her versions vary in significant detail from what others are reporting. Sometimes she's pitching the same faux narratives as Fox, just more subtly (except when she uses Fox catchphrases on CNN, which I've heard a couple of times).
In any case, you might consider whether anyone of integrity could come out of Fox. She mindfucked millions of viewers by pushing Fox's false narratives all the time she was there. Now the same person is peddling a product of different style but given the same underlying tilt.
As for CNN, we know CNN, like many MSM corporations, works to keep their agents in the Republican Party in control in DC. You probably remember that CNN gave Trump millions of dollars in free air time throughout his campaign. The many afternoons filled with Trump's talking face? Trump appearing most Sunday mornings on Face the Nation and Meet the Press all through 2016?
(Of course, it was CBS under Jeff Zucker who first created "Trump the great businessman and leader" as a national figure.)

(11,572 posts)Now, I am firmly convinced that that is a much worse problem on the R than the L, but it's still a problem. I could give many examples, as I'm sure could all of you, but there's no point. It's like trying to build a case for air and water? "Good for you, or bad for America?"

(658 posts)Both sides pander to their audience with the exact information they want to hear. This type of entertainment (I just can't call it news) is why our country is so divided, and it needs to stop.
ON BOTH SIDES.
I certainly don't watch the FOX "news" channel. I don't watch CNN, MSNBC, or any of the liberal leaning opinion based politically oriented entertainment channels either. I stick with NBC, ABC, or CBS for my news. As far as DU, I tend not to read, listen to, or watch the opinion pieces. I do sometimes and it's usually a liberal leaning post or video. Since I am a liberal, I usually find some satisfaction in the content, but, afterall, the content was created to get the attention of a person like me. It is pandering plain and simple.
